HOW TO MAKE EASY BEE BOMS WITH YOUR EGG MOULD

When your egg is gone, the fun has just begun! Our Pulp-it egg moulds are made from 100% recycled cardboard and no additives, meaning you’re already one step closer to growing something beautiful. Instead of tossing the packaging in the bin, why not turn it into a planet-friendly pollinator project?

Bee Bombs are a brilliant way to give bees a boost while giving your packaging a second life.

What Are Bee Bombs?

Bee bombs (also known as seed bombs) are small clusters of compost and wildflower seeds designed to be tossed into gardens or forgotten green spaces. When the rain comes, they break down and bloom into bee-friendly flowers. No digging. No planting. Just throw and grow!

Our egg moulds are perfect for Bee Bombs because they are…

– Made from 100% recycled cardboard

– Fully biodegradable and compostable

– Perfect for absorbing moisture and air-drying naturally

In short: they’re nature’s best bee bomb mould!

” Recycling turns things into other things. Which is magic “

Why Your Garden (and the Planet) Will Love This

– Zero waste: your packaging becomes part of the ecosystem

– Wildflowers support pollinators like bees and butterflies

– It’s a fun, sustainable project for families, schools, or community groups

Or, Want To Spread The Buzz?

Our moulds are also perfect as a gift or starter kit. Just add a sachet of seeds to your egg mould with a few instructions. It’s perfect for eco-conscious customers or seasonal campaigns.

To Make You’ll Need

– 1 clean Pulp-it egg mould

– Peat-free compost

– Wildflower seeds
(Choose UK-native, bee-friendly varieties like Poppy, cornflower,
clover or yarrow)

– A splash of water

– (Optional) Powdered clay for binding

– A mixing bowl and spoon

Instructions

Mix the Bomb Base
Combine 2 parts compost, 1 part wildflower seeds, and (optionally) 1 part powdered clay. The just add enough water to make the mix clump together — think damp cake mix, not mud.

Fill the Mould
Spoon the mixture into the egg mould and press it down gently. You want it firm, but not soggy.

Dry Naturally
Leave the mould in a warm, dry place (like a windowsill) for 24–48 hours until the bee bombs are firm and dry to the touch.

Toss and Grow!
Pop them out and scatter onto bare soil in spring or autumn. The rain will do all the rest!
